Hunter T's Taxidermy

Keith Kaufman has over a decade of experience as a professional taxidermist, and over 30 years experience hunting and fishing. Before founding Hunter T’s Taxidermy in 2005, Keith used his back woods expertise to hunt and fish with his father and his grandfather in Louisiana, and to provide taxidermy services to select family and friends. After graduating from the Colorado Institute of Taxidermy in Canyon City, Keith decided to make his passion for taxidermy his professional career. With expertise in preserving exotic trophies, large and small game, birds and fish, his projects have ranged in size from a youngster’s first brown trout to Boone and Crockett scored class 198-7/8 whitetail, to SCI world class records for caribou and big horn. As an accomplished artist, Keith has partnered with his clients to create the perfect trophy mount they expect and they deserve.

Keith’s love of animals, attention to detail and high work ethic make his trophies superior to those of other taxidermists. We encourage you to contact us to learn more about how Keith can preserve your hunting memories for a lifetime.

In his “free” time, Keith serves as a committee member and a volunteer for the Southwest Littleton chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF), a lifetime member of SCI, a member of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF), a member of the Colorado Bowhunter’s Association, and a supporter of the National Rifle Association (NRA). Keith has been married to Erika for 15 years and they have two young children: Mady, age 13 and Hunter T. age 9, and of course many dogs and pets!
